We didn’t want to make a dog brand
We just got tired of seeing dogs treated like influencers in fur coats. There’s this whole world of spotless, well-behaved, highly aesthetic dogs on social media. But that’s not what real dogs are like. They roll in dead things, eat trash, and lick your face right after. That’s the beauty of them. We’re Angelina and Karina — two designers who got sick of perfection. So we created mud™. A small act of rebellion against the pet industry that forgot the most obvious truth: Dogs are animals. And somehow, that’s a radical statement.

Tested on animals. They love it
We’ve been working on this product since 2023, it took too long, frustratingly long. Dozens of iterations and one annoyed chemist. But we had a clear mission: make products that work with a dog’s nature, not against it. Then we tested it on Chester and on his circle of equally filthy friends. While the rest of the industry would panic at the phrase, we wear it proudly: Tested on animals. They loved it.

East London tribute
mud™ was born in East London. It started on walks. In Victoria Park, where dogs run free. In Hackney Marshes, where the puddles are deep and no dog stays dry. In Haggerston Park, where squirrels live in constant fear of being chased. The chaotic, beautiful life of East London parks gave us the idea: dirty dogs are happy dogs. And that was enough to start something.
